About

Hi, I'm Talia

I know reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and finding the right fit matters. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up as you are, without pressure, judgment, or the feeling that you need to have everything figured out first.

In our work together, we may explore relationship patterns, anxiety, self-worth, past experiences, life transitions, or the parts of yourself that feel difficult to understand or hold alone. I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and honesty, helping you build deeper insight, emotional resilience, and a more connected relationship with yourself and others. I also believe therapy does not have to feel overly clinical or serious all the time; there is room for humor, humanity, and embracing the messiness of life together along the way.

My background includes training in trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches including EMDR, CBT, DBT, CPT, and ERP. I earned my Master of Social Work from Columbia University and completed additional psychoanalytic training at the William Alanson White Institute, which has shaped the relational and psychodynamic approach that I offer.

Experience

Clinical work & teaching

I am SIFI-certified and have experience supervising social work interns and managing an intern program. My prior experience includes working with young adults in outpatient and school-based mental health settings.

I also served on the research team at UCSF's Emotion, Health, and Psychophysiology Lab, where I studied the body–mind relationship that continues to inform my work today.

Let's see if we're a fit.
